Session & Data Management

With our Local-First philosophy, your assets remain completely inside your browser. AMC WebUI provides comprehensive organization tools.

1. Full-Text Search

  • Global search input at the top of the sidebar.
  • Indexes both session titles and complete message body contents for immediate query matching and auto-scrolling to exact dialogue turns.

2. Grouping & Pinning

  • Pin Conversations: Pin critical topics to the top of the sidebar via context menus or /pin.
  • Custom Folders: Organize chats into custom folders (e.g., “Research”, “Coding”, “Drafts”).

3. Backup, Export & Migration

Under Settings -> Data Management:

  • Full JSON Export: Back up all conversations, custom model configurations, and shortcuts into a portable .json snapshot.
  • Export Single Chats: Export individual chats into Markdown (.md), PNG screenshots, or PDF.
  • Restore & Import: Seamlessly restore your entire workstation onto another computer or browser context.
  • Storage Cleanup: Selectively prune cached temporary files while protecting critical text archives.
